Q Am I under any obligation to proceed if I have a consultation appointment?
A

Not at all. The basis of every consultation is for you discuss your suitability for the procedure you are interested in, and for the surgeon to explain in full detail all aspects of the surgery to you. You are then free to make an informed decision to proceed or not.
